Privacy Policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
This policy explains what information meistereckhart.com collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
meistereckhart.com (the "site") is owned and run by Omniterra Media Inc., a New Jersey corporation ("we", "us", "our"). Gregory Lahn is the pen name of the site's editor. For anything in this policy, write to Gregory@meistereckhart.com.
2. What we collect
Information you give us. When you join the free email course we collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. When you buy a product, the store collects your name, email address, billing country and order details. When you write to us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
Information collected automatically. Like nearly every website, our web host keeps server logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages you asked for, and the time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of you for advertising.
Payment details. We never see or store your card number. Payments are handled by our store provider and its payment processors.
3. How we use your information
- to send the free email course and occasional emails you signed up for
- to deliver products you buy, give you access to them, and handle support and refunds
- to answer your messages
- to protect the site against fraud, abuse and attacks
- to keep the records the law requires, such as tax and sales records
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, our legal reasons for using your information are: your consent (for marketing emails), the need to perform a contract with you (for purchases), our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site, and legal obligations (for tax records).
4. Services we use
We use a small number of outside companies to run the site. Each one handles your information under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to read them:
- Kit (kit.com) stores the email list and sends our emails.
- Payhip (payhip.com) runs our store and delivers products. Payments go through processors such as Stripe and PayPal.
- Claspo (claspo.io) shows the sign-up pop-up and passes the email address you enter to Kit.
- SiteGround (siteground.com) hosts the site and keeps the server logs described above.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. Your browser contacts Google to load them, which shares your IP address with Google.
- Amazon and other stores we link to. If you follow a link, what you do there is covered by that store's policy.
We are not responsible for how these companies run their own services, but we choose established providers and share only what each one needs to do its job.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for cross-site advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
5. Cookies and similar tools
The site itself sets no advertising cookies. The sign-up pop-up stores a small note in your browser so it does not keep appearing after you close it or sign up. The store sets the cookies it needs to run checkout. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though the pop-up may show again.
We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing. Since we do not sell or share personal information, nothing further changes.
6. Emails
You only get our emails if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and unsubscribing takes effect right away. You can also write to Gregory@meistereckhart.com and we will remove you. If you buy a product, we may still send emails about that purchase, such as receipts and access details.
7. No one under 18
This site, the email course and our products are meant for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to sign up for our emails or buy anything from us. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has given us personal information, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has signed up, please write to Gregory@meistereckhart.com and we will remove the information promptly.
8. How long we keep information
- Email list: until you unsubscribe, then only as long as needed to make sure you are not emailed again.
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to seven years.
- Messages you send us: as long as needed to deal with them, then deleted within a reasonable time.
- Server logs: kept by our host for a short period for security, then deleted on its normal schedule.
9. Security, and what happens if something goes wrong
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. The whole site runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, we use established providers for email, payments and hosting, and we keep the information we hold to a minimum. We never store card numbers.
No website, email system or online service can be made completely secure. Despite reasonable care, information could be accessed without permission through hacking, malware, a fault at one of our providers, or other events outside our reasonable control. We cannot promise this will never happen.
If a security breach affects your personal information, we will act quickly to contain it, and we will notify you and any authorities as required by law, including the New Jersey Identity Theft Prevention Act and other laws that apply. If a breach happens at one of the outside services listed above, that company is responsible for its own systems and its own notices, and we will pass on what we learn where it affects you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or harm caused by unauthorized access to information that happens despite reasonable security measures, or that happens on a third party's systems. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
10. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop sending you marketing emails. Write to Gregory@meistereckhart.com from the email address in question so we can confirm it is you. We will answer within 30 days, or sooner if the law requires.
California, New Jersey and other U.S. states with privacy laws. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to know the categories of information we collect and why, to get a copy in a portable form, to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising (we do none of these), and to appeal if we turn down a request. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that the agent has your permission.
European Union and United Kingdom. You also have the right to object to or restrict our use of your information, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Where your information is stored
We are based in the United States, and our providers may store information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires, our providers use approved safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for transfers out of the European Union and the United Kingdom.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site or by email.
