Meister Eckhart

Terms of Use

Last updated November 2, 2026

Please read these terms before using the site or buying anything. They are written to be as plain as possible, but they are a binding agreement.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Omniterra Media Inc., a New Jersey corporation ("we", "us"), which owns and runs meistereckhart.com. By using the site, joining the email course or buying a product, you agree to these terms, to our Privacy Policy and to our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. You must be 18 or older

You must be at least 18 years old to use the sign-up forms, join the email course, or buy any product. By signing up or buying, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we learn that someone under 18 has signed up or bought something, we may close their access, refund the purchase and delete their information.

3. What this site is, and is not

The site is a reading companion to the sermons and writings of Meister Eckhart, with plain-English explanations and spiritual reflections. It is offered for education and personal reflection.

Nothing on the site or in our products is medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial or other professional advice, and nothing here replaces care from a qualified professional. If you are struggling with your health or wellbeing, please speak to a doctor or other qualified person. The site is independent and does not speak for any church or religious body; the explanations are our own reading of the texts.

You are responsible for how you use what you read here. Any spiritual practice, reflection or exercise described is something you choose to try at your own discretion.

4. Who owns the content

Meister Eckhart's texts as translated by C. de B. Evans (1924) are in the public domain. Everything else on the site and in our products, including the explanations, modern-English renderings, commentary, reflections, selection and arrangement, audio, video, images, design and the email course, belongs to Omniterra Media Inc. or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws.

You may read the site, print or save pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, and share links to it. You may quote short passages with a link back to the page. You may not copy, republish, sell, or distribute our content in bulk, or use it to build another website, book, course or product.

5. Using our digital products

When you buy an ebook, course, devotional, journal, audio or other product, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for yourself. You may download it, keep copies on your own devices, and print it for personal use.

If you break these rules, we may end your licence and access without a refund, and we may take legal action. Buying a product does not transfer any ownership of the content to you.

6. Purchases, prices and payment

Products are sold through Payhip, which handles checkout, payment and delivery. By buying you also agree to Payhip's terms. Prices are shown at checkout and may include or add sales tax or VAT where the law requires. We may change prices or stop selling a product at any time; this does not affect orders already paid for.

We work to keep product descriptions accurate. If a price or description contains a clear error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

7. Refunds

Every product bought on this site comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. The details are in our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

8. Emails

If you join the email course, you agree to receive the course emails and occasional emails from us about Meister Eckhart and our products. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

9. What you may not do on the site

We may block access to anyone who breaks these rules.

10. Outside services and links

The site relies on outside services (such as Kit, Payhip, Claspo and SiteGround) and links to other websites, including Amazon. Those services and sites are run by other companies under their own terms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or how they handle your information. Some links may be affiliate links that earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you.

11. Security, hacking and interruptions

We take reasonable steps to keep the site and your information safe, as described in our Privacy Policy. Even so, no website can be made completely secure, and the site may sometimes be unavailable, slow, or contain errors.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or harm caused by: hacking, viruses, malware, or other unauthorized access to the site or to any outside service we use; content placed on the site by someone else without our permission; interruptions, outages or data loss at our hosting or other providers; or anything else outside our reasonable control. You are responsible for protecting your own devices and accounts, including using up-to-date security software.

If you notice anything on the site that looks wrong or suspicious, please tell us at Gregory@meistereckhart.com.

12. No warranties

The site, the email course and our products are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful code. We do not promise any particular spiritual, personal or other result.

13. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Omniterra Media Inc., its officers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of the site or our products, even if we were told such damage was possible.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the site or our products is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars if you paid nothing.

Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

14. Your responsibility to us

If you break these terms or the law while using the site, you agree to cover any claims, losses and reasonable legal costs that we suffer as a result, to the extent the law allows.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep any protections the laws of your home country give you.

Before starting any legal claim, please write to Gregory@meistereckhart.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Most problems can be sorted out with a simple email.

16. Other terms

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. We may transfer this agreement as part of a sale or reorganization of the business. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms. Changes do not apply to purchases made before the change.
